DC: Reflection 9

Tasks:
-Complete final edit
-Complete final Digipak / Magazine Advertisement

Completing Final Edit:

I largely focused on the colour grading elements of the production, first altering the Black&White grade to include a Vignette, I then looked at implementing colour transitions for the cuts between the Boys line of action / the Females,

I used the Center Wipe transition during the final drop when the frame emerges into colour, I ensured that the wipe followed the male as he entered the frame

Finally, I went over the footage and used the Stabilizer to stabilize any shaky footage, I did so by going into the colour page of Da Vinci, changed the stabilizer settings to Strong- 120, Smooth- 60 and enabling Zoom.

I then went over a final check over the footage, ensuring that it cut on beat throughout and the grading remained consistent, by watching the production several times.

Completing Digipak:

I went over the photoshop files of all of our Digipak panes, ensuring that they were all correct / making any adjustments necessary

I decided to alter the background of the inside 2 pane by removing the chest of drawers the artist is sitting against, I did so by selecting the drawers and removing them, selecting the wall, duplicating it and using it to fill the gap from the drawers, I then used the clone stamp tool to soften out the edges

Completing Magazine Advertisement:

I made the final touches to the Advertisement, adding several features, for example the artists record company, the link to his website, his Facebook and a logo linking to Spotify

I also slightly altered the positioning of the text to ensure they didn't clash with the main image
