'Baby I'm yours' (Breakbot ft. Irfane)
I am a big fan of Breakbot, and enjoy not only their songs but also their music videos. The genre and metanarrative set clear 'guidelines' for this music video.
The upbeat tempo would mean a lot of shots would need to be filmed if we wanted to cut on the beat, which would be time consuming, but with proper planning would have a good outcome.
After effects are a big part of this music video. We do not have the technology or training to apply the same level of after effects to a music video as 'Ed Banger Records' - the produciton company. However, we can still use basic colour filters and selection to great effect.
'Crave you' (Flight Facilities ft. Giselle)
This is a popular song (with over 23million views on YouTube for the official video).
The lyrics are heavily based around a romantic narrative, meaning our music would have to have a romantic narrative, most likely with two seperate lines of action (like the original music video).
'You and me' (Disclosure) (Flume Remix)
This song has the most options for a music video out of all three.
The lyrics make it possible to have a music video based on a romantic narrative, whilst the build up of the song and 'drops' enable the music video to be disjunctive or even amplified, due to the intensity of the song.
